The Early Years: Beginner/Advanced Phonics and P1 Preparatory
Our Preschool Programmes cover 3 modules over a span of 10 months. The first 2 modules (Beginner’s Phonics and Advanced Phonics) cover the essence of early literacy skills. Our highly successful programme brings children through stages of Phonemic Awareness to kickstart their reading and to effectively aid them with spelling both in the short and long term. Following that, Module 3 (P1-Preparatory) marks out foundational skills in language and core mathematical concepts to sufficiently prepare them for their first year in Primary.
Module 1 & 2: Beginner’s Phonics + Advanced Phonics
Our program provides children with a head-start to begin their reading journey. How can a child be primary-school-ready if he/she is unable to read? We’re here to help! Conducted once weekly, the program is ideal for children aged between 5 to 6 years.
What’s Covered:
- Voice Letter Sounds (Consonants, Vowels, Diagraphs Etc)
- Recognize High Frequency Words Commonly Seen In Primary One Questions.
- Blending And Segmenting Words
- Speech And Pronunciation
- Improves Reading/Spelling Difficulties (Short & Long Term)
- Games And Hands-On Activities

Module 3: Primary One Preparatory
Has your child been sufficiently exposed to Primary One question types? Fret not, our P1 Preparatory programme can effectively help your child to begin adapting to Primary question format. By learning key steps and methods, watch them gain confidence as they embark on the next chapter of their learning journey.
